Resources for Neurodiverse Women

Neurodiverse-Affirming Care

Terra Soma Health offers neurodivergent-affirming care rooted in current research and a strengths-based approach. Neurodivergence—such as ADHD and Autism - are understood as natural variations in how people think and experience the world, not a "disorder that needs to be fixed." Therapy is individualized to support each person’s needs while honoring their identity, promoting self-understanding, autonomy, and meaningful growth.

Late Diagnosed Autism

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with many women-identified and non-binary individuals with late-diagnosed Level 1 Autism (formerly called Asperger’s Syndrome). I’ve come to value being both a learner and a supportive partner to this community, as many navigate the complex process of understanding and embracing their experiences. At a time when research is still emerging, social stigma persists, and affirming therapeutic resources can be limited, I am committed to providing a space where we can explore the intersection of gender and neurodiversity. Often what is needed are unique solutions to chronic masking and Autistic burnout, knowledge about the impact of (peri)menopause on the "spectrum" experience, and self awareness + boundary setting to develop sustainable, self-compassionate ways of living that honor the strengths of a unique nervous system.

If you are formally diagnosed or self-diagnosed (that's okay!) as having "spectrum" tendencies in an non-inclusive world, please check out our ongoing programs that are built around neurodivergent ways of knowing and being.
