I'm a certified nature-informed trauma therapist and wilderness guide. I believe the body holds the stories our minds cannot fully tell. From the beginning of my clinical work, I’ve been drawn not only to words, but also to the subtleties of human expression: shifts in posture, rhythms of the breath, and the quiet transformations that occur in moments of silence. I specialize in Somatic Experiencing (SE), EMDR, and other body-based modalities that help clients engage their whole selves as we navigate the terrain of trauma and healing. My work centers on deep listening, identifying patterns, and weaving together the threads within the stories clients share. Together, we map the journey of the body, the psyche, its memories, and the innate capacity for resilience and healing.

For clients who are interested, I often integrate nature-informed practices into therapy. I offer this approach because our physiology remains deeply attuned to the natural world, and reconnecting with it can be an essential part of feeling whole. In this way, nature becomes a collaborator—or even a “co-therapist”—illuminating patterns in both body and mind, and providing a supportive container for transformation. I find great meaning in walking alongside my clients as they learn to inhabit their bodies with curiosity, compassion, and courage. I work with adolescents (age 16+) and adults (age 18+) across a range of issues, but I have specialties in the clinical areas below. If you're interested in my story, you can read more .

The Treatment Experience
Trauma Treatment

Trauma treatment is most effective when its tailored to the person receiving it. I take great care in assessing the needs, concerns, resources, and capacity of the clients I work with to ensure that safety, trust and accuracy is at the center of the treatment experience. I am known for pacing treatment in a way that ensures the body is consenting to our work and that re-traumatization is minimized. My approach is eclectic, often moving between evidence-based modalities and creative interventions based on intuitive reading of the client's nervous system. Trauma treatment may consist of a blend of the following: SE, EMDR, IFS, DBT, CBT, narrative therapy, expressive arts, Jungian shadow work, nature integration and exposure therapies.
Embodied Cognition

Has talk therapy fallen short of your expectations? This might be because the dominant medical model in the United States encourages us to approach problems intellectually, prioritizing thoughts over embodied experience. This can incentivize dissociation and prevent you from accessing elements of your experience critical for comprehensive healing. Somatic Experiencing (SE) offers a way back to our physical selves. More than simple body awareness, SE is an intervention grounded in the science of mammalian survival responses and, by gently guiding the client's awareness of body sensations, uses the body’s innate ability to release stress and tension to support trauma healing.
Nature Therapies

Our species is more adapted to the natural world than it is to our computer screen, but sadly, many of us have become estranged from the land and devolved into sedentary lifestyles that harm our physical and emotional health. Worse, it has create a fear and discomfort of the outdoors, rendering nature an "estranged other." To reverse this suffering, it is critical to involve the natural world in our healing process. Nature-informed therapies support nervous system regulation, deepen self-awareness and foster connection with the environment as a partner in healing. My specialties include Green telehealth, horticultural therapy, therapeutic backpacking, ecosomatic therapy, and Visions Fasts. Read More >>

Nature & Somatic-Based Programs

Embodiment Series
Online & New England
Join a supportive series of somatic-based skills groups designed to help you come home to your body. Together, we’ll explore how symptoms of stress, burnout, and trauma are embedded in nervous system and how to release stuck survival responses through body-based practices. Using principles of polyvagal theory and Somatic Experiencing, you'll learn how to regulate stress and emotional overwhelm and restore a sense of safety and ease.

Nature Human Series
Througout New England
The Human Nature Series invites community members into immersive, nature-based experiences that support healing and personal growth. Through rites of passage and guided wilderness journey work, participants engage with the natural world while drawing on indigenous and ancestral wisdom that came before us. Each program fosters deeper awareness of the Self and our ecology as a means to build capacity for becoming a fully mature, “whole” human

Wild Arts Program
New Hampshire
Osho once said, “To be creative means to be in love with life.” This trans-generational creative group builds on this wisdom by offering a welcoming space to explore nature-based art and the imaginative spark that lives in everyone. Through photography, collage, sculpture, and other creative experiments inspired by the natural world, participants are invited to express themselves freely, discover new perspectives, and reconnect with their innate sense of wonder.

Neurodiverse Women
New Hampshire
Are you a female-identified adult exploring late awareness or diagnosis of your neurodivergence, including autism? These events offer a structured and sensory-considerate space for unpacking myths and reframing problematic narratives about folks with unique nervous systems. Through education, practical tools, and supportive discussion, participants build self-understanding and AUDacious, sustainable ways of navigating environments not always inclusive of neurodivergent needs.
